To review a model in SYMMETRY VR, you must first log in to SYMMETRY Cloud and import a model. For more information on importing a model within SYMMETRY VR, see the manual SYMMETRY VR - Basic functionality.
Aim at any point inside the model or on the cutting mat with the laser pointer.
Pull the controller trigger to immerse within the model.
Alternatively, clicking the Scenes button on the palette menu and selecting a scene will instantly teleport you into the model.
Point with the non-menu controller (the right-hand controller by default) and pull the trigger button to instantly move around within the model.
If another tool is selected, the Teleport shortcut can be used by pointing with the non-menu controller, holding down the trackpad button, and releasing it to Teleport.
Push and hold the grip button on the right controller to fly around the model. This makes it significantly easier (and more fun) to move around within a very large model. Additionally, using the fly jet allows you to reach areas that are unreachable via point-and-click teleport alone. You're welcome.
Users can add Markup to their models within VR, allowing for more detailed and specific design direction. Each Markup is encapsulated and includes a status that allows users to effectively track feedback and revisions. All markups are stored in the SYMMETRY Cloud and synced to SketchUp via the SYMMETRY Plugin for SketchUp.
The range of Markup tools includes:
- Freehand Markup
- Line, circle, square, and arrow
To initiate a Markup session, click "Create markup".
Select your Markup tool to place your feedback within the model. Any number of tools can be utilized.
When finished, click "Capture" to take a snapshot of the Markup and save it to SYMMETRY Cloud.
